A focus blocker for macOS. Basically an open source Cold Turkey. It blocks sites and apps on a schedule or after a daily limit. Unblocking them is annoying on purpose.
I wanted something like Cold Turkey on my Mac. Open source this time.
A small Rust daemon running as root writes blocked sites into /etc/hosts. That blocks them in every browser even when the app is closed. The app itself is Tauri and React. It quits blocked apps and closes blocked tabs. It also shows where my time actually goes.
The unlock is my favorite part. To loosen a rule during focus time you wait 5 to 40 minutes. Then you retype a sentence you can't paste.
No account and no telemetry. Code is on GitHub and the .dmg is in the latest release.
