I build software for a living. The part I like most is figuring out why the tools people already have aren't working for them.

On the side I make small tools for myself. One blocks distracting sites on my Mac. Another translates ebooks offline. They're all in the Projects folder.

I study a lot on my own. Right now that's mostly machine learning and statistics. Some complexity theory too.

I also read about geopolitics and longevity research. And baseball.
